Day 1: I am thankful for my parents - without them I would not be here (of course) and I would not have been able to do the things that I have done throughout my life. They have guided me down the right path and are always supporting and encouraging me.
Day 2: I am thankful for a job - when I was sixteen I applied to work for Chick-fil-A. I was so excited to have gotten to turn in my application but was thrilled when they called me with the news that I had been hired. This is not a job. This is a place where I am able to serve others and get joy out of it. Of course, there are tough days but everyday I am there for one thing. To serve God and by serving God I am serving others. Three years later, I am still with Chick-fil-A and hope to grow more with the company.
Day 3: I am thankful for yarn - I love love LOVE yarn! My business is yarn based and I love creating new things with it.
Day 4: I am thankful for love - without love this world would be full of lots of crazy things and it would be down right awful. "Love thy neighbor as thyself"
Day 5: I am thankful for the ability to speak - "a persons a person no matter how small" use your voice! I always thought my opinion didn't matter but if you say something as simple as telling someone to have a good day, it could go a long way.
Day 6: I am thankful for my bed - we take things for granted everyday. Many people have been blessed to have a bed to sleep in everyday. There are many whom don't even know what a bed is.
